Acquire multiple Data Assets through the Cart

Requesting Multiple Data Assets - Data Asset Consumer Perspective

As a data asset consumer, you have the capability to add multiple data assets to your cart, as shown in the following figure, and determine your preferred method of acquisition: (a) individually for each data asset, as outlined in the "Acquire a Single Data Asset" section, or (b) as a bundle of all selected data assets (up to five), where you either acquire them all or none.

Hint

  • Maximum 5 assets can be selected for a bundle contract.
  • In order to create a bundle contract, cryptocurrency method must be enabled as payment method.

When opting to create a bundle contract, you can generate the respective requests to the data asset providers, specifying the details as in the case of single asset request as depicted in the following figure.

In contrast to single asset requests, a bundle request necessitates direct writing to the SYNERGIES Blockchain. Therefore, the legal representative of the organization, acting as the data asset consumer, is prompted to input the wallet’s password, and the transaction is mined, as illustrated in the following figure.

Managing Contracts in a Bundle - Provider & Consumer Perspectives

The legal representative of the organizations, acting as data asset providers, receive relevant notifications (via the platform and/or email) and can review the details of each request made by a potential data asset consumer. They can then proceed to either reject or accept the request for the data asset based on the provided information, as shown in the following figure.

Subsequently, the data asset provider for each data asset within the bundle decides whether to offer a contract for the specific bundle's asset, and the process follows a similar trajectory to that of single data asset acquisition. If any data asset provider declines a contract, the entire bundle cannot be acquired, and all contracts for the bundle's assets are nullified. The data asset consumer maintains visibility of the contract statuses for the bundle's assets at all times, as depicted in the following figure.

Settling Contracts in a Bundle through Cryptocurrency - Consumer Perspective

Once contracts for all data assets within the bundle are signed, the data asset consumer legal representative must pay the total price in the cryptocurrency supported by SYNERGIES (ETH). The legal representative, acting as the data asset consumer, must unlock the wallet and make the respective payment, as shown in the following figure.

Funds are promptly transferred to each data asset provider’s wallet, and the respective contracts are automatically activated, requiring no further action from any involved party.
