Revise a Contract

Once a contract becomes active, its terms are enforced in the SYNERGIES Platform. However, changes may be necessary based on the usage by different data asset providers/consumers, such as: (a) when the initial contract’s license metadata are restrictive and do not allow running analytics or retrieving a dataset, (b) when additional columns of a dataset need to be acquired, or (c) when a contract has expired or is about to expire.

In addition, changes may be triggered once entering a single contract from the top right of the screen.

The "Revise Contract" action, available on a contract’s page, enables updating the contract’s license metadata and terms, with a message to justify the change to the other party. For the revised contract to take effect, it needs to be signed by the other party as well.
